WWE 2K24 Announced - Releases march 8th - early release on the 5th

As the title states, WWE 2K24's release is right around the corner.

It lists some  gameplay features that might be nice.

If the last few updates of 2K23 are telling, it's may be coded tooth and nail against mods. We'll see.

Well, 2k23 has a lot of virus level attacks and self crashing BS...  yet the modding community figured out how to bypass it in the blink of an eye.  The new WWE game will not successfully stop mods (because 2k doesn't have a clue where to even begin with a proper anti-cheat), but 2k might succeed in putting innocent, unsuspecting users in danger.

The fact that 2k added virus level malicious coding to its game exe is absolutely disgusting.  More than half of the game exe is sloppy coding they added in 1.21, which is why the exe more than doubled in size with that update even though NO new features were added.

My advice to people is DO NOT support this company.  Do you want a game exe that can force a blue screen of death, cause data loss, and even lock out all mouse/keyboard input while it performs suspicious tasks?  If those things sound like they should be in a video game, then 2k is the company for you.  Otherwise, do not give them your money.

Remember, everyone.  Speak with your money.  2k has proven they do not listen to words.

I am very much looking forward to this game.  bummer they taking aim at modding communities. 

 

i am strictly an offline player with my own preferred mods from various modders.  i dont use mods to cheat against anyone online.  i just like to get old school mods. like an AEW Punk.  or TNA Sami Callihan.  ETC.   change genders....  change height and weight...  mess with caw layers, stack clothing layers so i can make really thick CAWS or really funny hairstyles.    just various things to make the game more fun.  all the sudden as 2k23 came to a close with DLC ... they took this stuff away pretty much.

 

i am sad it sounds like i gotta go back to playing older games if this anti cheat crap is gonna be a new thing.
