Injecting over myrise characters possible?

Hi has anyone managed to inject a mod over one of the myrise characters? I've got the character placeholder mod and would like to replace Slade, Chosen and Tavish etc with a mod.

 

However injecting doesnt seem to work. The myrise characters are still loading but are invisible with just their attires showing.

 

Has anyone managed to replace them, and if so how did you do it?
