number1sexhaver Posted January 2 Posted January 2 I bought this game after seeing all of the wonderful modding people keep posting, and I tried following a tutorial that I guess is outdated after update 1.22. I keep seeing people posting about there being a workaround, but no one can point me to a guide on what that workaround is or how it works. The WWE 2K Reddit tells me to check the prowrestlingmods.io Discord, but no one is responding to any of my messages. I tried tweeting their Twitter account too, no response. I know that no one is required to help me haha, so apologies for the whining, I'd just really love some help if anyone at all can point me to some sort of step-by-step guide or tutorial to learning how to mod this specific game properly and up-to-date. I would appreciate any help. Quote
BeMiz Posted January 2 Posted January 2 it's not really that outdated, I followed a video that were made before the 1.22 and mods worked, I just used the modded launcher I myself, as new as you btw just started learning how to mod this game you just need the modded launcher for the game to make mods works for 1.22, and always open the game from there Here download the mod launcher https://www.patreon.com/PWMods/posts and also CakeTool is needed to bake your mods (apply them) and sound editor is for replacing music and theme with whatever theme you like, it is in Smacktalk just look it up Now watch this video this dude is awesome and his video was so easy to understand he later made a tool to make injecting GFX way easier but I still recommend watching this first to get the base knowledge of how things work And there is something called Meta 2, that let you mod things as new lots instead of replacing and makes you add commentary, I am trying to learn it but I am struggling and can't find a good place to put my foot on yet, its kinda hard such a jump between modding wwe2k19 and wwe2k23, but its only getting easier and easier with time passing All of the tools and info is all there just we need to look it up Quote
