PC Modding Help

[Moderns]

Just recently got the game on PC(own on PS), and am looking into modding the game. Nothing crazy with adding slots, just replacing right now.

 

I've looked through a few tutorials (seemily a bit outdated), but am having issues getting any results other than the game crashing when selecting a specific superstar.

 

Maybe I'm messing up the process? 

 

-Download Mod

 

-Extract Folder(s) to Desktop Folder

 

-Copy Folder to: 86/Steam/steamapps/common/WWE2K23/_mods/baked51/characters 

 

-Open CakeTools and Bake 'baked51' folder

 

-Launch game via ModLauncher within Steam directory 

 

-Profit?!

 

I've only tried JoeMashups CM Punk, and Bray Wyatt from PWM Crashes when I choose Drew Gulak, which is the Folder name of the CM Punk folder.

 

I am running a 4060ti, so maybe another baked folder?

 

Any help or links to tutorials is welcomed! I've only been looking/trying for about a day and will continue, but figured I'd see if anyone could provide a solution.
