Texture problem on alt superstar or unlocked attire

Im having a problem with Joe Mashups Maxxine Dupri mod. Im trying to replace the mod from Liv to Stephanie then i tried Sasha Banks Hidden slot, but all it did was just Give Maxxine her head shape but Liv Face texture and body texture. Also the clothes are all black and not showing colors. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Yeah i feel like it only works if i change the texture to the actual character then the slot i modded. Like whats the point on adding a slot if it only works if you change the texture to the superstar. Thats why i feel like there's a way to bypass that
