Question for cheat engine gurus.

Is there a way to edit post match breakout's duration?

I did that with Cheat Engine in 2k18 and 19.  It's a BIG code.  It required finding TWO different timers (the general timer AND an idle timer) plus two different triggers that ended the breakout when the player or opponent passes the threshold going up the ramp, and multiple other codes to stop the breakout from ending when finishers are done, and another code to stop the amount of damage in general from being counted because a certain damage amount even with no finisher would also end it.  It's a PAIN!  lol!

I noticed this year the breakout timer itself is wayyyy longer, which is nice.  I am able to get a good beating in on an opponent before I either decide to use a finisher or just walk up the ramp.  Since there's so much more time this year I haven't recreated the codes for this year.  Are you specifically trying to get it so you have even MORE time on the timer?  Because that's already pretty long.  Or are you trying to get it so you can do a finisher and keep beating them down more, etc...?  Maybe I can do something this year if you tell me your specific goal.

For 2k23 I did already make a script that gives infinite time to fight after a DQ happens (up until you do a finisher or two to end it) but that's obviously a very different scenario.  Quite fun tho!

You already made it for 2k18 & 19??! That's pretty neat!  Previous 2k's breakout timer is much less then in 23, which is yeah ,you right, is quite long.

But in this case I think it's not the timer that stops it, but the damage dealt.  I got some character's attributes like "grapple offense" or "arm power" at like 255 out of 90 or whatever vanilla is for specific wrestler.  So it takes couple throws or kicks to reach it.

Yup, I was obsessed with the idea of being able to deal out a LLLLLONG ass beating!  So me and a buddy worked together and came up with the entire code list needed and we were blown away by how much there was to find.  It was worth it though!

Ok, so yeah it sounds like there's a damage counter this year still.  It seems like this year may have less things to find because I think there's only 1 timer instead of 2.  I can remain idle for the whole time and it keeps going so it seems like the idle timer is gone.  Maybe some other stuff is easier now too.  Ha, imagine that.  Something getting easier on the newer version?  I'll believe it when I see it!  😛

But yeah I'll take a look when I get a chance and see if I can track down the damage tracker and disable it.  Then with the timer itself already being really long by default, a nice long beating should be possible with the way to trigger the end of the breakout being to perform a finisher.
