How to add a string with the sdb editor

Hi guys,

after modding 2k19 as latest game, I want to give 2k23 a try as it really looks promising. Now I wonder how to add a string to the sdb. I extracted the files already but am not sure which HEX ID to chose when adding a string. Is there an overview of empty HEX IDs somehwere or does anyone have any advice?

All you need to do is order the ID list so that it shows you the numbers in numerical order. So FFFF7740 being the last if it's in ascending order. Click Add New String. Add 1 to the Hex set, so it would become FFFF7741 and enter your string text. If you're using Meta 2 then you'd need to convert it to Decimal. Rapidtables has one, not sure if I'm allowed to link it here. But that's honestly how easy it is.
