Issue with sound editor converting from mp3 to wav. files

Hi guys, I've been using sound editor to change some themes in my 2k23 game but all of a sudden this error appears whenever I've tried to convert an mp3 file:

"File 0 conversion to wav. failed. Please run this tool with administrative rights!"

So I tried running it as an admin? Same error came up. I tried re-installing WWave and the Sound Editor? Same error. I checked the sound editor post - I 100% have the correct WWave installed (2017).

Can anyone help cause I have no idea what's gone wrong?
