Uninstalled and the tried to reinstall and now getting the "setup error could not read setup package". On new Lenovo Legion Slim 5 laptop if it matters. Not sure if it has some kind security checker. beyondjon Posted April 24 Posted April 24 So was able to get around the setup error could not read setup package by jumping through hoops and I'm not even sure if it was just sheer luck or what.. I attempted to install it from several locations but it still gave that error. I moved the install file to C Drive but it still didn't work after several attempts.. I then right clicked and ran compatibility troubleshooter and selected "Program did not display correctly" and then let it apply recommended settings.. Then launched the installer again and it totally messed my display up shrinking it to 640x480 but I was able to get into Windows settings and change the resolution back and it then installed with no issue. plandr Posted April 28 Posted April 28 (edited) Hi guys! I have an issue I am wondering if anyone else has run into! So my swaps of music work fine for entrances. My swaps of individual wrestler entrance names also work fine. However, for *tag names* the files I am adding are not being recognized by the sound editor: e.g. if I try and change the names 'Power and Glory' or 'The Province' in RA1 and replace with a newly generated file the announcer (Mike Rome) just ignores it. This makes me think that the tag files must now have been duplicated and added in a new directory, but I cannot find it. Can anyone help? Edited April 28 by plandr Quote

Thanks You can only replace sounds within Sound Editor, not add sounds to an empty space. But there are literally thousands and thousands of sounds/music files....surely you can find something you can live without. Quote

I had this too, uninstalled it and have not been able to reinstall it since (setup error). I've tried everything, but have given up in the meantime. jdoggokussj2 Posted May 7 Posted May 7 (edited) i have a problem ive replaced quite a few sounds and names but today when i open up the sound editor its not showing the sounds i replaced, when i click the play button it plays the song i replaced it with but the name for replaced sounds are blank is there a fix for this? Sound editor has always worked flawlessly for me in prior games. This is the first time I have ever encountered an issue with it and it is only with tag team entrance name replacements. The "swoosh" effect that plays when you scroll through the menus is driving me absolutely mad, but I don't want to just mute the game. At first I thought the names were just duplicated elsewhere in the database but I have checked hundreds of lines with no text and I don't think that's the issue unfortunately! MataDoR Posted July 29 Posted July 29 Amazing mod been using it since 2k22, i do have one problem i dont know if its only me but after every update for 2k24 the music reverts back to original and i have to import all the ones i changed again and it keeps happening, is this suppose to happen? or is there something i can do to fix it? i never had this problem with 2k23 or 2k22 its just 2k24 for some reason Quote
