Looking for some tag team partners to help me label audio files!

If you've been following my threads on editing the audio for WWE2K14/Wrestling Legends, you know that we finally (once again) have success! I've recently uploaded a tutorial video that (I hope) clearly explains how to edit and insert your own audio.

All the heavy lifting of labeling audio files for call names, hometowns, championships, etc. has been done years ago by some of our wonderful members here. The only audio left to sort and label is the commentary. And let me tell you......it's A LOT. We're talking in excess of 20,000 files.

So far, I've gone through, listened and labeled about 1000 files. My goal is to enhance Wrestling Legends/WWE2K14 as much as I can with custom audio from Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse Ventura. I've had success already with replacing some of Cole & Kings lines with Monsoon and Jesse, so I know that it works. The trick is being able to find the most commonly used commentary lines in the game so that I can actually replace them. This is where some help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not asking you to mod or edit anything. I plan on doing that. I just need help listening to audio files and renaming them. It's actually very easy to do, just takes time.

All you have to do is listen to a WAV file, and if it's commentary, rename it with what's being said (or the main idea, not every word), but being sure to leave in the file number like this:

Leaving the file number in place is crucial, because that's how I'll be able to find the HEX number in order to edit it in the game. After labeling a file, you'd simply drop it in a folder that's pretty self explanatory. If it's not commentary, don't take the time to rename any of it. Just put it in the coresponding folder. As I said earlier, every file EXCEPT commentary has already been labeled and put in a spreadsheet, so we only need commentary lines labeled/renamed.

So, would anyone be willing to help with this? If I got 10 volunteers, we could each knock out 2000 lines, which I think is doable. (I've already done roughly 1000.)

I've already got all the audio files in the game unpacked, so what I would do is upload them as WAV files to a drive and have each volunteer download a specific section. Then when you're done, you can simply reupload it and send it back to me.

Who's in? Let's make the greatest wrestling game EVER even GREATER with custom commentary from the 80's!!

Please let me know if you'd like to participate or if you have any questions at all.
