Installing wwe 2k22 for modding

Hi Guys

Iv decided to jump on board for 2k22 modding.

From what i have read so far is mods only work for version 1.14. When installing WWE 2K22 it obviously installs with the latest patch which is very annoying. 

Is there any easy way to roll back to 1.14? i have found a tutorial video to roll back to 1.08 with the console in steam but doesn't seam to work for me.
