Changing Main Team in Movesets

I used Data Editor and CCT to overwrite some slots, including default slots. One thing that I noticed in Universe Mode is that I can't seem to update the main team for certain slots. For example, if I am in universe mode and I edit characters I'd previously updated (e.g., 786 and 727) then the main team is fixed. This is true, even if I reload a moveset with a different main team or no main team selected. In the My Universe tag team edit, these characters aren't part of their "main team". And they can't be added to any other teams. Any help would be appreciated.
