im having problems porting 2k19 models to 2k22

I am currently trying to port over a kota ibushi mod from wwe2k19 to wwe2k22 version 1.14 using blender version 3.1 when i tried exporting the base model of him and it worked but when i tried exporting the attire this error message poped up  please can someone help

 

im getting the below error when i am trying to export to .mdl format

hello !

 

Did not try my self but  I find this tuto video : 

 

He recommends Blender 3.1 (actual is 3.3) apparently a higher version can cause problems...perhpas it's that ?

This is because when you imported the OBJ's you didn't switch the GEOMETRY (Right side of the import obj screen)  from "Split" to "Keep Vert Order"

This is NOT the cause of his error.

 

His error is "OBject has No Vertex Groups"

 

This means he didn't rig it properly. It has no weights.

 

Please follow this tutorial for weight painting and don't listen to this guy.
