Working on _nrm textures files ?

Hello everyone,

i d'like to work on _nrm files but they don't appear with Gimp or Paint.net... whereas for_color textures I had no problem. Do I need a plugin, or another software ?

Also, is it still useful to work with Compressonator ? DDS files from wwe2k19 textures files seems to work fine...I don't get it. I get that from that tuto https://wiki.prowrestlingmods.io/books/wwe-2k22/page/introduction-to-textures
