NBA 2k to WWE 2k?

i've never seen any ports from the nba 2k series suprisingly, i've noticed the face textures for both games in game models are borderline identical.

also was curious if not only model ports were possible but shoe ports since wwe 2k decided to remove any semblance of real life shoe models a couple of patches ago.

Few Things

 

1) The UVs arent identical, the chin line is noticably higher on WWe than NBA so you wouldnt be abele to easily swap textures like that

2) 2K just doesn't "decide" to remove anything, the issue is more than likely unobtained licenses, and licensees like Adidas can be angry even over rip-offs.

For example, in one of my favorite games Marvel Heroes, they gave Star-Lord his headphones from the movie with ZERO logo/branding, however, Sony emailed them to remove the orange coloring as it's clearly meant to "represent their product", so they had to give him all-black headphones.

 

3) NBA reuses body models for most of it's people, with just heads existing. These style of games make porting hard as you have to searchand dive through dozens of files to "build" your character

4) Lack of interest. Modders make what they want, and just, nobody has felt like it. You could always learn and do it yourself!

I could be wrong but I believe this is how the dennis rodman mod was made.
