Importing Logos.dat into a re-signed save file?

Recommended Posts

Hi, I am in a similar situation to what was described in this thread:

I am trying to import a compressed Logos.dat file into 2K14 on a CFW PS3 console. I've had no problems importing, re-signing, and editing the rest of the content present in my 2K14 save. Every time I try going into the custom logos section however, I'm prompted that there's no save data present for logos, regardless of the fact that a Logos.dat file is present in my save directory. Since the compressed Logos.dat wasn't working, I also tried importing a decompressed version through dev_hdd1. First, I attempted to use Packzip-Offzip as recommended in another thread:

However, this left me with multiple files as opposed to a single decompressed Logos.dat which I need for the dev_hdd1 directory. I also attempted to use QuickBMS with a script provided for decompressing 2K14's files (can't find the thread again, unfortunately) though it seems that this script may only be intended for the 360 version of 2K14, as attempting to load the output DAT (around 6.27mb) simply displays an error in-game stating that the logo data is damaged. Has anybody else figured out how to restore a Logos.dat file from a save game imported from another PS3 console?

Update on the situation, managed to snag the decompressed Logos.dat from the console which it originated, and it even loads in the editor when I replace Logos.dat in dev_hdd1. However, it seems that no matter what I do, once I close the game, it will not save the changes to the save file in dev_hdd0. Re-booting the game and going into the logo editor prompts me with the same "no logo data exists" message. I think I've screwed up something really bad, does anybody have any clue what could be going wrong here?

@kurobuttshow did you edit the logos.dat file I've been trying to do that for months but to no avail

I haven't really done any edits to logos.dat, all I've been doing is overwriting files via FTP.
