Blank error message saying "Attention" when trying to load Universe?

Whenever I try to load my Universe save through the load menu I get an error which just says "Attention" and it doesn't load. The strange part is I can press continue from the main menu and it loads with no problem.

 

Not sure what the issue is but wondered if anyone could help. When I press load the little icon which displays the current show is blank and when I select the Universe I get the error message; it seems to happen as soon as I start a Universe and try to edit the shows but a "default" Universe loads fine. I don't want to start my Universe without resolving this in case it causes issues with the save further down the line.
