Savedate from 1.08 version to 1.12

Hello:

I have a BKP of my save data from the 1.08 version. The game update to the others versions and now is in 1.12. I want to restore my backup file but the game does not recognize it.

Its there a way to fix this? or I have to start all over?

Odd. I've migrated an 1.08 backup save to 1.12 myself and didn't have any issues.
If the save is from the official Steam version, It should work if you have restored your backup properly and the game should ask you to update the save data to the latest version.
Check if you have properly followed the steps in the Restore save wiki entry without skipping any and see if it works then.
