Ported Entrance- getting music to work?

Hi there, new here

First up I'd like to say thank you to all the people who have made mods and modding tools for the 2k series of WWE games.  I've been browsing this site this past week or so and gathering some mods for 2k16.

I've learnt to do some mods myself, such as porting Hulk Hogan (Red and Yellow) from 2K15, after reading info on these forums (I had to learn, because, understandably, links to many mods are dead 6 years on).

 

However I'm now running into a problem when porting entrances.

I've used the fix for Hogan's entrance (using slot 500 and changing bytes in the .pac file) and Hogan's entrance works great now. 

But, I'm now trying to port another entrance (2k17 Bubba Dudley) - I can get it to work in slot 500, using the same method as for Hogan's entrance.

However, so, far, of the slots I've tried, no other empty slots work with that fix for the entrance music - either the music just does not work, or the game crashes, or the game skips past the entrance.

I am aware that I have to rename the entrance .pac file to the slot number I want to use, then change the file numbers within at 0x80C and also change the bytes somewhere around offset 4093 (the offset actually differs if it's not Hogan's file, but basically it's two bytes before the start of the name string in the 0flop file (in this case 0180_Bubba...)).

So I'm stumped, I've tried quite a lot of slots now with no success!!

 

I know it's a long shot, 6 years later, but please could anyone let me know of a range of empty entrance slots that can be used with working entrance music using the same method as adding Hogan's (Red and Yellow) entrance with music?

 

There is also something else I'm wondering, I can see threads about editing the string files.  Does that mean there is a way to make things like ported entrances selectable in Create mode?  If so, please can someone give me instructions on doing it?

 

EDIT - I just found a working slot for Bubba's entrance with music.  Slot 567!  Still have others to add, so help would still be appreciated!!
