SvR 2011 arena mods - SvR 07, 08, 09, 2010 and LOWM porting (WIP - 07 & 08 done)

The official thread for any arena mods I make for SvR 2011. Focusing first on porting every arena from the previous games (obviously the 360 & PS3 ones only)

So far done every arena from SvR 07 & 08, the download links you can find below.

I've spent a lot of time trying around to get these arenas to work properly in SvR 2011, only issues left are that some of the crowd members next to the crowd fighting area facing the wrong direction, so not that big of a deal and the lighting while entrances a bit misplaced. Couldn't figure out that one yet which would've most likely required even more time to work on them so I'll release them like that for now. But if y'all catch any other issues just let me know here and post your feedback.

If any of you want to support me, my work and the time I've put into this and everything else I've done, you can donate to me via Paypal:

(IMPORTANT: You need to update the arc file manually using any Hex Editor. Either look through this forum on how to update the arc manually for arenas or if it gets requested a lot I can try writing a tutorial. Also, these arenas work for now only on Xbox 360. All of them have been tested using the Xenia emulator and on PS3 the arenas crash the game, so I'll have to take a look at them sometime later.)

Nice work, good luck with porting the LOWM arenas though, you will come up with an issue with the rope colours not porting over.

I've got tthe WM9 version to work, but its the red/white/blue rope combination I have noy got to work correctly.

Good work ! Do you have a solution for characters passing through the ramp? (except replacing an arena without ramp with one without ramp for exemple)

Yes, you have to edit inside the misc.pac with any Hex Editor the:

BATS\INIT.pac - 0002.dat

and / or (I edit both)

BATH\INIT.pac - 0002.dat

Starting with the Hex value 42 9C each arena data block is 24 values long. Here for example M011 (WrestleMania 26 - ramp arena) and M009 (Royal Rumble 2010 - no ramp arena)

oQQ7EBr.png

The marked value decides if there is a ramp animation or not.

01 = Ramp ON

00 = Ramp OFF

I tried to do that but nothing changed, I even tried to modify the misc.pac of a dlc package but still nothing

edit: I think the reason why it didn't work is because I didn't succesfully edited the dlc package Capture.png

Yeah I don't know how the DLCs work on 360.
