can having more modded characters contribute to large save size ?

Hello

I have been struggling with resetting/recovering my save file because I noticed its going about 199 MB and then game is giving save error. I just want to know if modded wrestlers(and having a universe save with them) can cause an increase in save size. If so, is there any way to reduce save size(maybe by overwriting some in game superstars with mods) ?

Hi,

What will contribute to a large gamesave will mostly be created content, like saved Create videos, arenas or downloaded content for created characters, especially the videos. 

Modded superstars are stored in the games files not the gamesave. The only information for these character stored in the gamesave is their pofo and moveset data.
