Can someone please help me properly rename an arena apron file??

I have 2 arenas whos aprons have conflicting numbers, specifically wrestlemania X8 and Royal rumble 04.  I’ve tried manually renaming one of them but when I did that and changed it to that number in the misc 04 file the arena wouldn’t load at all.  What’s the proper way of changing the number of an apron pac file?? I’d really love to be able to use both these arenas without having to chose which one to have installed anymore. Thank you!!

Hey,

You can rename an apron on an unused slot with HxD (line 800, edit and save).

For example if your two aprons have the number 47, you can choose one of them and use a "free" slot like 48 or 49, if they are not used in game. Don't forget to rename the .pac file (arapron48 / 49...)
Then you have to make the change in the misc_04.

Thank you, I actually figured it out. It was the hex editing I was having trouble with. 
 

would I by chance know how to add new textures to an arena apron pac file??  I’m trying to create a custom apron for 2002 smackdown. I have to be 2 jpg files I want to use but cannot figure out at all how to do it plus there’s no tutorials I can find.

Unfortunately I am not knowledgeable enough about this kind of thing.
I know at most how to change the place of an arena_entrance, or a place to put an apron., add a render on the logos of the shows only for the arenas.

But working on the rendering of an apron, I don't know.

I hope someone more qualified than me can post something for you, or a link to a tutorial.

Actually do you think you could tell me how to properly get my arena logos in the select menu working?? For whatever reason half of them revert to the logo of the arena I replaced, sometimes I’ll regenerate chunk and load in again and It will be the new proper logo.

install another mod and it will randomly switch back and I have no control over it. I know it’s got something to do with the menu files but I cannot figure out a consistent way to get them to stay.

 

same issue with entrance nameplate animations. Sometimes it’s the correct one sometimes it’s t old arena you overwrote which looks like ass lol.

last question I promise, u wouldn’t happen to have a Kurt angle 2003 team angle mod would you? It’s disappeared from the internet and is one last big piece I’m missing from my collection lol. Hard to get replies in this site so figured I’d ask anways

For Shows logos :

To make it simple, let's take the example of the AEW Dynamite arena replacing 205 Live.

You can preview all the renders in the file in Wrestleminus; do not use it to inject renders.

It is better to extract the OODL file with Pac Editor (Pac_Cui), decompress it with Oodle tools to get the dds render.

You will then have the render at the right size, you just have to open it in Paint.net, or Photoshop, to replace it by the AEW logo. Save the new DDS.
Finally do the same thing with Oodle Tools but compress this time your new DDS to have it in OODL format.

Inject the new OODL with Pac_Cui in the pac. of 205 Live to have the new AEW.

I think they are duplicates in your files, if there is any duplicate file with the same number, even if they are visually different, they will be managed in a random way.
So you have to delete the one you don't use anymore.

It works the same way for all files, aprons, nameplates, etc...
