BigBossman Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 I was wondering since SvR will only allow CB2 users to use 7.0 or higher (I have 8.0) is it still will HEX codes work when using version 8.0? In other words can you use the HEX codes in place of the CB2 codes like you used to with CB2 V 3.0? These digits are extremely different than the previous SD games. For Example: most of the match rules could be turned off or on by taking a & code, using the same address & just changing the value to either 0 or 1. But on this one for CB2, the codes are very different. According to CMGSCCC, To turn all pinfalls off you enter: AF0EE4D1 26336EA7 To turn all pinfalls on you enter 2CAD329A CB228E5C This new code format that these newer games use is a little bit confusing because they don't seem to have any kind of pattern. Can someone explain this to me? Quote
tokidoim Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 Looks like you've got encryption on v7.0+. You might want to google for CB2 encryption and see if anybody's cracked it and made a converter. You're in the same boat as the ARMAX guys were for a while. nosig Quote
BigBossman Posted November 5, 2004 Author Posted November 5, 2004 Will that converter website convert the HEX codes to this format? Quote
Enigma Posted November 5, 2004 Posted November 5, 2004 From my experience CB2 v7 users have been able to use codes in hex on other Smackdown games. You mentioned that SvR will only allow users to use CB2 v7 or higher...now that is worrying Quote
