eplate2 Posted November 14, 2021 Posted November 14, 2021 I recently built a new pc and transferred everything over to a brand new SSD so it's been quite a process to get back to modding. I did a mod for Road Dogg into 2k19 and before my PC change, I was able to edit his entrance and music and everything (i think I had downloaded a modded entrance of his ported from an old game which worked beautifully) but now, when i go into edit superstar, i cannot edit his entrance or music. Can someone help? Quote

Can someone help? Hi, Have you performed a test to see if you can edit the attributes directly in Create Entrance mode? Does this happen with every superstar ( modded and non modded)or just the Road Dogg mod ? Depending on the outcome of the texts, this can be caused by a corrupt cae_item.pac file (pac\menu folder) which contains the menu data for create entrance mode. It can also be caused by a corrupt gamesave file. If you can give feedback from these tests, then we’ll know enough to move further. Quote

I tried to use data editor to add Road Dogg's modded entrance in but when I go back into the game it's still blank. I did a 1on1 match to test it but he just ends up in the ring. Could it be something with the superstring? Quote

The entrance file which was ported by someone in smacktalks, I just copied those over to the evt folder in the game - didn't do anything else besides copy and paste Quote

If you have the ported entrances pack installed the ID for the entrance is 750 or 1250 . If you look in the pac\evt folder, you will see any ported entrance files labelled with a name. You have to check which of these is labelled Road Dogg entrance or something similar. If what you are selecting in data editor doesn't match the ID for the entrance, it wouldn't work Edited November 14, 2021 by BlindedByTheGrace 1 Quote

The name Road Dogg will not be listed in create entrance without a modded cae_item with the entrance ID and string name added manually. Quote

I haven't yet edited the string name. What would it be listed as if I hadn't edited the string name? Did it simply replace an entrance already in the game before? im going to have to reteach myself how to edit strings now because i also see all the attires that i had names for no longer exist 😒 Quote

The string wasn't edited for this one. 1 Quote

I am afraid to do anything here as I do have a bunch of alternate attires modded and they are working fine plus I have edited the super string a few times - wasn't sure if this would reset anything. Can you let me know what to do here? Quote

Can you let me know what to do here? Hi, Though you might have the alternate attires installed in CCT, you also needed to install the attire unlocker. This is not an error If you have alternate attires installed through CCT, I will suggest you first navigate to this folder WWE 2K19\mods\Universal Alternate Attire Unlock\pac\root, backup the misc01_start_p30.pac file , click on INSTALL UNIVERSAL ATTIRE UNLOCK in data editor, close the software, copy the backup file back to that folder location, then reopen the data Editor attire unlocker. The ID for Road Dogg's entrance is 492. If you set the entrance ID as 00492 in data Editor and the entrance skips, it will mean the game can't locate the entrance file or you have copied the wrong files to your game. 1 Quote
