Emperor_Paws Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 So i've been using sound editor and my sound editor got scuffed because when i edit music the music i replaced plays in game but when i re open sound editor it's not there anymore, so a bunch of music id slots got deleted and idk how i can get them back, my backup is active but idk, i went to the folder to check it out and it looks confusing to me, there's a bunch of themes there but idk if those are the ones that got deleted and sound editor made a backup of, i don't know much of how this works. but my other question is, i got a bunch of modded characters that i want to now add new songs to, but i dont have slots to replace, is there a way i can add new slots to the game? Hi, Music ID slots can’t be deleted in sound editor. Did you verify your files with steam at some point, because if you did, steam will replace the modded sound files with the original. What files in the 2k19/sound folder are you injecting your theme songs into using sound editor? We can’t add music slots to the game without replacing unfortunately. Quote
Emperor_Paws Posted November 3, 2021 Author Posted November 3, 2021 i'm currently editing the music_0_m.pck 1 2 and 3, aswell as the music_misc_1_m.pck and 2, so basically original theme songs for wrestlers aswell as the default music u can choose to give wrestlers for entrances such as traditional, 90's, usa president, bodybuilder etc, all of those, i'm only editing that portion, that section of songs in the game. you're saying the audio files aren't getting deleted, but they disapear from sound editor, and yes some time ago, back in august i think, i had to verify my game files because my wwe 2k19 self auto updated wwe live back then and i had to do all of the work all over again, so now my question is, how do i find those original audio files that i edited but don't show up in sound editor anymore? do i reinstall sound editor? Hi, If you verify your game, steam will delete all modified sound files so they can't be recovered. sound editor creates a backup of the sound file when you inject audio. This backup is found in the sound editor backup folder. Quote

No. These are stored in the save game, that will remain. Also, don't forget to backup your save game regularly. Quote
Emperor_Paws Posted November 3, 2021 Author Posted November 3, 2021 so i go to steam, click properties, local files, and make a backup of game files first and then where is that stored? and only then i verify integrity of game files, and according to what you guys are saying, that won't delete my save game, caws and modded character right? but it's going to delete my already modded music i injected right?
