Replacing Michael Cole

Is it possible to replace Michael Cole's ch file?

I tried renaming Don Callis's to ch15006 (like how I replaced Corey Graves and Byro Saxton), and now the game won't load up matches.

Also, I was a dummy and didn't back up Michael Cole's ch files...

Any help, please?

tell me the step by step you did

Did you only rename the file? You'll have to rename the ID at the EMD section inside the file with a hex editor to match as well. If it still doesn't work, you might need a lower polygon model.

I just renamed the file and pasted it over Michael Coles files... Yup,  I messed up and ended up having to restart from scratch.  I was a dummy and used Steam to verify the game files and it wiped out all my mods.

Ouch. This time, install your .pac mods in the \mods\ folder so they won't be wiped when you verify the game files in the future (if you already have all your mods inside the \mods\ folder, simply use CCT to regenerate the Chunk0.def and you should be good to go with the .pac files of mods). Also, create backups of any modded non-pac files you may have as those can't be used from the \mods\ folder.
