ProWrestlingMods.io Unsafe?

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Hey guys,

I noticed today that the 2kM site changed to ProWrestlingMods.io (PWM). When i was using 2kM back in April to August, the website loaded with no hiccups from my Norton Virus Protection Software. Since the site 2kM switched to PWM, the site sends a red danger warning alert to my web browser that is protected from Norton that the site is known to cause malware and bring other issues. Is anyone else getting these warnings since the site change? Any plans in the future to maybe make the site much more safer that doesn't send red flags to Internet Protection software such as Norton? Sites such as NexusMods I never experienced that before.

Thanks,

Wolf

Any idea maybe why those red flags come up now vs when the site was 2km originally?

They prob switched security certificates or ssl, so your virus software is false reading it as unknown/unsafe.

@B4G.TV Maybe hopefully PWM can change the security certificate or ssl so it doesn't cause false readings like that. because using a couple other virus protection software they're all giving the same warning message.

What I mean is i think they already did. And since its new and unknown it's being false flagged as not trusted. Think that happens at first for a bit. Not sure doesn't do that on my end.

Update: the Issue was resolved it looks like since the 100% green mark is given for the site from Norton
