Want to replace announcer with an 02 ch file

Was wanting to change the models of Cole and Saxton to VInce and King Lawler but the problem is the models that I want to use are ch file ending in 02 and the correct type for npc is an 06 file. So I was wondering if anybody knew of a way I can convert the ring attire 02 files into 06 files or knew of any other work around?
