So I want to remove all my caws but have them as backup incase I want them back.

Is there a way to store them somewhere else so I can get new space for other caws?

[I'm using PC]

Not one by one, but you can backup and restore your save game which also includes the CAWs among other things any time. Follow the guide on the Backup Save Wiki entry for instructions.
