swipergod Posted June 12, 2021 Posted June 12, 2021 Hello, for a mod @matt2282p work on for me, we ported in a jacket to be used with Haku. Unfortunately one of the motion files seems to not port correctly after following this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8CX5OcnM28E Any thoughts as to how to fix the motion obj? The cas jacket in question is 404. We could get the jacket to work by disabling the broken motion obj and the jacket motions, but hoping to get some motion on the jacket and figure out what's wrong with the file. @tekken57 's x-rey can export the obj, but no 3d program like blender or 3ds max can read it. 1 Quote

swipergod Posted June 13, 2021 Author Posted June 13, 2021 Sure thing @Zuper-Plextra The jacket obj in question as 3 subobj files: The jacket model, the motion model for the bottom of the jacket and the motion model for the sleeves. When extracting the objects via xpacker and then reassembling them following the vid link I shared, the complete yobj file with the 3 subobj doesn't want to open correctly in xpacker. The program wants to shut down after "experiencing a problem". The problem is that the subobj for the bottom of the jacket motion seems to not be ported correctly. Programs like blender and 3ds max indicate a vertex index issue possibly with the UVs. I can't know for sure since I don't know how to validate them by looking at them in hex. There's no issue with the CA or 2580 files, just the yobj. If the motion subobj are removed (since the sleeves can't work without the bottom of the jacket), then the yobj doesn't crash the system. Hopefully that helps? Quote
