Pofo and moveset files just don't want to work

Hi, so I've been on this problem for 2 days now where everything works with CCT there's no problem but here's the thing.

My CPU being old does not support SSE 4.2 witch the game needs to run. To fix this I'm using a different .exe which is a SSE 4.2 fix. It's working fine but when launching the game CCT doesn't recognize the game as being open.

I can deal with that but here's the much bigger problem : even cheat engine refuses to work, when I import the 2 files everything works as intended but in the end nothing happens the files are not loaded (Dean Ambrose name doesn't change when it's supposed to be Jon Moxley now)

 

So the question is : am I just screwed because of my SSE 4.2 fix ? Should I just give up ?

Since your executable is changed, it means that the memory footprint of the game changed which in turn means that tools that inject things into memory and modding attempts that require things to be  injected into memory (injecting .pofo.moveset.team_info.match files into memory, for example) won't work the same way it does with the official game.
You can try to figure out your footprint and work with Cheat Engine, but since you said that didn't work for you either.

If all you want is change the name of a wrestler, you can simply open the string_win.pac file with WrestleMinus or a Hex editor, replace all "Dean Ambrose" strings with "Jon Moxley" and since that doesn't require you to change anything in memory, you should be good to go.
