HarryPotterFan95 Posted April 12, 2021 Posted April 12, 2021 Hiya, Apologies if this has been covered, I just simply can't find an answer for this anywhere. I looked on the Wiki and on the Forum as well as a bunch of YouTube videos. I downloaded some GFX for The Rock from 2KMods and the PAC files are assigned to Alicia Fox by default. However I want to replace a different Slot with these GFX i.e Jason Jordan. How would I go about this ?? I have already tried changing the Slot ID's on the files in the SS folders, so Alicia is 029700 and so I renamed the file to 061600 which is Jason Jordan's slot, after this I Clear and Regenerate the Chunk in CCT, however the GFX's appear blank in game. I know the GFX works fine in Alicia's Slot, I just need her GFX for another MOD I have installed. Any help would be greatly appreciated !! Thanks Quote

Thanks I had the same issue, and from what I read (and have done myself) is you open the pac file in a HEX Editor (HxD)... There, you can scroll down a bit and change the info to match your slot id. Example: Open up your renamed file (029700) with HxD editor. Scroll down a bit, and you will see the id as 029700. Change the 297 to 616 and click on the "x" on the top right. It will prompt you to save the file. That's it. It should work now, after you put them into their respective folders and regen the chunk. Edited April 18, 2021 by CuddlyCorey edit 2 Quote

I've been able to workaround having to edit .pac files. You're explanation is so simple, it has me wondering if I should stop avoiding it. All of my leads always pointed to Pac Editor. Is HxD what we should be using instead of pac editor now? Is what I saw/read outdated now? I ask because my biggest struggle was trying to find a working Pac Editor download. Quote

I scroll down a bit and you'll see the ID it's linked to. Ex: 10100. I just change that to whatever slot ID I want. Then, click the x at the top right. Save. There, done. 1 Quote
