FPS / Stuttering Gameplay / Lag

So, when I first starting modding, it was on a brand new PC running an NVIDIA 3060ti graphics card. It was perfect. 8 man matches no issue with frame rate, gameplay perfectly normal.

Since then, because I'm an idiot and I'm trying to up my hash rate for mining, I've added an additional card (internally) which is another NVIDIA card, albeit a lower spec one.

However, everything game wise is still running off my 3060ti. The application has been set in settings to run on the 3060, and has also been adjusted on the NVIDIA control panel to run on this card.

Monitor/TV is running on the high spec card.

I've tried most of the options suggested I can find, but even a four man match is still like slow motion. I'm very frustrated and very annoyed so if anyone has even the slightest hints of why it's suddenly not working properly, I'd really appreciate it.

I've changed the graphics setting in the game itself, turned VSYNC off, messed with crowd density and shadow rate (shouldn't matter as it was literally perfect before I faffed with the cards).

Short of yanking out this new card and going back to what I had before (and I doubt that would fix it as I'm literally running the game with the original 3060ti card) , I'm at a loss. Please help me before I two foot the entire setup out of the patio door and go and rock in the corner pulling my hair out like Mankind.

Thank you kindly.

I would check your motherboard manual.

I suspect when you added the second GPU the PCIe slot that the 3060ti is plugged into went from 16x down to 8x and now with half the bandwidth it isnt capable of running the game smoothly.

In most motherboards 1 card will run at 16x bandwidth, 2 cards will run at 8x/8x or possibly even 8x/4x

I had a similar problem when I added a USB/SATA expansion card into the other full size PCIe slot on my mobo, a quick read of the manual and I figured out what the cause was.

If that  is the case then removing the 2nd card will fix it.

Thanks dude. I'll have a look. Just whip out the second card when I'm playing should sort it then. I'll give it a try. Thanks again.
