CCT randomly stopped working?

Hi everyone, 

For some reason my CCT has stopped working after being fine for months. Whenever I open CCT, the program is blank with the exception of the toolbar and displays the following error message message:

"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately. Configuration system failed to initialize." 

I also get this message whenever I click any other buttons in the program. The only thing that works is the Run 2K19 button. I also tried re-installing CCT however the same error pops up everytime. Does anyone know what's causing this or how to fix it?

What folder location on your PC have you placed the extracted CCT folder ?

So I was storing it in the "2K19 Mods" folder I had on my extra hard drive. So the path would have been "New Volume (E:)/2K19 Mods/CCT_2019_1_3_1_".

I've managed to get it working again after re-installing the game and moving CCT to the root of the (E:) drive. So I'm not sure if it was issue with the game files being corrupted or the an issue with the path.

Its better for CCT and other tools to run from the main drive.
