Manager Only Alt Attire Not Working In Universe Mode

Not finding anything on this. Curious if it's a limitation of the game or if I might be missing something in my setup...

I have 2 attires for MVP. One with his ring gear that is fully unlocked in the menus, and another with his suit that is only selectable when playing the manager role. 
This works fine in MyWWE matches. But, he doesn't appear in Universe Mode in his suit. 
When setting up Bobby Lashley's Main Managers in Universe Mode, I can select MVP, but his suit is not an option.

I'm guessing this is an in-game limitation, but wanted to confirm with you guys that there is no way to force MVP to show up in a suit in Universe Mode whenever he is manager like in MyWWE?
