Exhibition Mode / locked Superstar

Hello everybody,

I added three new Superstars to my Game: Santos Escobar, Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde. I wanted to build up the Chrome Cartel. If one is choosen to be in a match, the other two will accompany him as managers. Unfortunately, If I choose one of them, the other two are locked. This happens for:

- Manager,

- Tag Team Partner

- Opponent.

They all have the same Gender. Additionaly, i made a Stable with them, which works fine, but doesn't affect the Match Card.

Has anyone an idea how to fix this? What is the reason for this?

Hi,

the reason is you probably have the same ID set for the COMMENTARY NAME in the pofo file.

You will have to to open the pofo files for each character in Data Editor, go ANNOUNCER SETTINGS.

Ensure the COMMENTARY NAME is set to the Wrestler ID for the character then save and reinject the pofo's back into your game.

Thank you for the advice. This was correct and the solution to my problem.

Every Wrestler had the Announcer Settings for CAW024. 

Learned something more

Never saw this quote in the Data Editor:

WARNING: If multiple Superstars in your game have the same Commentary Name ID set you will only be able to use one of them in the same Match, etc.! Hence it's recommended to keep Commentary Names unique among Superstars and use the Wrestler ID or an otherwise unused Commentary Name ID.
