CCT taking up storage

Hello, I've been modding for a little bit now, and I realized whenever I rebuild the Chunk0.def file I somehow lose space on my other drive. I have steam with WWE 2K19, and all modding tools plus the mods on my D drive.  I install a mod, rebuild the chunk file and see I lose space on my C drive. I believe it's cause of CCT because I only lose storage when I rebuild the chunk file. I've lost about 7 gb so far. Can someone help?

a backup is created, if you go into your cct install folder there should be a backup folder. thats where the space is going

Do I need to save all these files in the backup folder of my CCT?  I have been modding like crazy and that folder is now 327 GB!

So...I just read this and noticed that my backup folder is 107GB!!!! 

Can I delete all but the last backup? Holy moly, I never knew about this.

If what you have works well, you can delete all but the most recent backup.

You might want to check the backup folder for Sound Editor as well.  those files tend to add up.
