KyzerKid Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 Anyone know why I would be receiving this message when trying to use Universal Alternate Attire unlock using data editor all of a sudden? "You have either opted to Reinstall/Reset the Universal Alternate Attire Unlock 2K19 manually or the file misc01_start_p30.pac you have currently installed in your WWE 2K19 Installation directory may not compatible with the Universal Alternate Attire Unlock. If you would like to install the Universal Alternate Attire Unlock into your game directory's mods folder, tick the desired options below (if applicable) and press "Install Universal Alternate Attire Unlock". Be aware that this will overwrite your old misc01_start_p30.pac file in your game directory's mods folder if you choose to do so. Hence any modifications that have altered those files may no longer work properly. The files that are being replaced are backed up in the Backups folder in this tool's directory. This allows you to easily restore the backups manually if need to be. If you do not wish to install the Universal Alternate Attire Unlock, press Cancel." Only thing I could think of is something went wrong when I moved all the files in my mod folder to their specific locations in the game file Quote
Cave Waverider Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 The Universal Alternate Attire Unlock needs to be in the location Data Editor installs it in and the file needs to be the exact same size as the Universal Alternate Attire Unlock to be compatible. Also, why would you move your mods out of the mods folder? You won't be able to go back to the original game files if something goes wrong, if there is file corruption or Steam just feels like it the game may overwrite the mods that are in the regular game folders and you'll break tools like Data Editor and CCT that depend on these locations. If you move everything back to their respective locations in the mods folder and regenerate the Chunk0.def using CCT, everything should work fine again. Quote

I downloaded the AEW Dynamite modded arena, I kept having issues where people were walking through the ramp and the corner barricades were not set properly. I asked why I was experiencing this in the 2kmods modding help chat and someone told me to move all my modded files out of the modded folder and into the designated game files and that will fix my problem, it worked but now I'm having this issue.
