I wanted to add this mod into my game but I feel like I dont understand the instructions. I was told to put the 2k19 folder(arena conversion mod) you download into my 2k19 directory folder and then I would get a prompt to replace files. Then all I had to do is clear chunk arc and then regenerate chunk0def file. Nothing happens when I  put the wwe 2k19 folder(arena conversion mod) I downloaded into the wwe 2k19 directory I don't get the prompt to replace files what is that I'm doing wrong and also where do I place the patches as well. Thanks for your help in advance.

Create a “mods” folder inside your main 2K folder and place your mods in there. Make sure you clear chunk.arc and regenerate . Make sure you place all your mods in that mods folder. Do not replace any main directory files. 2K should recognize  your mods once you start the game.

I have a mods folder but thats mostly just cct stuff and thats literally what the instructions say to do, so I'm a little confused, how would the game know to read them if I placed them in a folder named mods.

copy and paste the 2k19 folder to your 2k19 folder, clear chunk, regen def. if you have modded arenas, theres a possibility they wont work correctly. its recommended to do these "megamods" or "mod packs" on clean installs, then build on top of them. or if you know how to install arenas, you can install them one by one

Thats what I'm saying the mod instructions say to drag and drop the folder into my 2k19 folder but I don't get the prompt asking me if I want to replace files so I'm confused as to what I'm doing wrong. Also what about the patch files, do I just drag and drop those as well and look for the same prompt to replace files as well. Just trying to make sure I do this correctly, and no I don't have any arena mods whatsoever in game. So it would be a clean install as far as arenas go.

So I tried to copy and paste instead of dragging and dropping and still the same result it doesn't show a prompt to replace files, seriously what is it that I'm doing wrong.

The question here is,

What is the name of the folder you are copying and pasting/dragging into your 2k19 folder?

The mod pack might be placed in a folder named differently  and probably has a pac folder or  mods folder inside it.

This is the folder which needs to be dragged into the 2k19 main folder.

if you aren’t getting a prompt, it probably means you might be dragging the wrong folder as it will just place the folder in the game without overwriting anything.

One other thing is, contrary to a few posts I have read, arena mods do work properly in the mods folder. I have arena mods and my ported moves in the mods folders which is better so if I reset my game, the arena mods are not affected.

Yeah there is a folder labeled wwe 2k19 folder and inside of that is a pac folder and a movies folder. Would I copy and paste both simultaneously into the wwe 2k19 folder that holds my game info or drag and drop them at the same time in the wwe 2k19 folder. Because so far dragging and dropping and copying and pasting the wwe 2k19 folder(w/ arena mods) into the wwe 2k19  folder (containing game info) hasn't worked. So I think I have to grab the actual pac and movies folders to get them to replace files.

You are actually supposed to drag the pac and movies folders. Any folder containing the pac folder will not be named wwe 2k19 so it wouldn't overwrite any files. The folder will just be placed inside the main 2k19 folder causes lots of other issues.

Okay so copy the pac and movie folder over to the wwe 2k19 folder then clear chunk arc, regenerate chunk0.def, and load up the game and also am I doing the same thing with the patches as well.

I don't know the folders in the patches but one thing to take note of with copying files is never to drag the whole folder containing the mod into your 2k19 folder.

First look at the folders in the main folder for the mod  and compare with those in your game.

Understanding how the folder structure in the game is important so you don't end up placing folders in the wrong location  which ive seen quite a few times when supporting users with issues .

I'm seeing inside WWE 2k19 folder(folder containing game info) there is a pac folder and a movies folder should I just take the pac and movie folder from the downloaded wwe 2k19 folder and move those into their respective folders so they overwrite and then go from there.

Is that what Im supposed to do? Anyone?

Hi,

You will have to follow the installation instructions written by the modder and pay attention to detail.

You have asked a question regarding where to copy the pac files and this has been mentioned in a previous post.

To be honest, if you are just beginning to mod your game and you haven't got to grips with the game's file structure and how to copy files, then you shouldn't really be installing a mod which replaces multiple files in the game at the moment. Reason is, when you experience issues, you just get stuck not knowing what to do.

Modding this game and many other games starts with small steps. First start with simple one arena mods on the 2kmodz website, see if you can get those working and what files they replace  . Then at some point move on to the more complex mods. The modder isnt fully active at present so you can't really get the full support you need if you run into problems you can't fix or can't troubleshoot.
