SnakeSlippers Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 Ok I'm tired of going through the roster and changing it and slimming down and adding, etc. etc. Is there a way and what files do I need to copy over to have separate game saves? I have way more than enough room. I want a Attitude Era/Ruthless Aggression/WCW/ECW game save. And a Modern day and other brands game save. Quote

Cave Waverider Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 Sure, disable Steam's cloud save feature, back up your save game and replace it with whichever game save you wish to load (the save needs to be from the same Steam Account as yours or it won't work). You'll find instructions on how to do that on the Create Backups Wiki page. A more elegant way with less hassle in the long run may be to create multiple Steam accounts (one per save) and add them to your main account's Steam Family. Each account has it's own Steam game saves and family accounts can play the games your (main) account has installed on the computer. This way you can keep Steam Cloud saves enabled, too. That said, the save game is separate from your game files. So if you want to use different Wrestlers in the same slots, you will have to replace the chXXXYZ.pac files as well (you could have two separate game directories that are modded differently and then rename them or link them as needed. Or you could use different wrestlers as attires for one WrestlerID and then set the default attire per save to match the .pofo and .moveset in the save game. Quote
