How to regenerate chunk def file without cct or wrestle plus

I need a tutorial on how to use notepad to rebuild the chunk def file. CCT and wrestleplus aren't working for me.

most likely, the .exe files have been moved from the original folders

Could be, but do you know how to use notepad to rebuild the chunk def file though? Im trying to get my hacked moves to show up in game and they won't because I cant regenerate chunk. I already have some in game from when I could do that but its simply not the case anymore.

Also trying to get certain alt attires to show up, I believe all of this has to do with the chunk def file not being regenerated right?

You are missing your Chunk0.arc file. Find it in your backups or a fresh version of the game.

Open CCT, first CLEAR Chunk0.arc (The file you just added).

Then rebuild the Chunk0.def.

I was told to delete the chunk0.arc file in order to get mods in the game and plus cct isn't working for me any work around for that, like for notepad++ specifically

I think CCT doesn't work because it's looking for that file.

CCT wasn't working before I deleted that file but its all good I do appreciate the help though.

Can anyone help me out here still having trouble I went into the chunk0.def file and saw that two of my alt attires was listed in there but wasn't showing up in game why would that be also why isnt my 2k20 moves showing up in game I already have 2k15-2k19 moves set in game 2k20 moves just wont take

How did you add the attires?. You can't add alternate attires without activating the  alternate attire unlocker in Data Editor or installing in CCT as they will not show upin the game by just placing the ch files in the games pac\ch folder.

Hi.

None of the files in the ported moves pack are additional files so you don't need to regenerate the chunk0.def to get them working.

Can you confirm you have your game updated to version 1.04 ?

If the moves are not listed, it means the game is probably reading a copy of the createmode.pac file which hasn't got the moves listed.

From the screenshot you posted, you have a folder called MODDED CREATEMODE.PAC which shouldn't be there . That folder is an optional folder in my pack and should be removed from that location.

CCT Should work in your game as its a steam version.

One thing to take not of when installing CCT is not to extract the folder in your DOWNLOADS or DESKTOP folders in your game.

Extract in a location like DOCUMENTS or in your main C drive folder.

I did use data editor to unlock alt attires for eddie guerrero and even had both the attires in the game at some point but for whatever reason they just  stopped showing up eventually, and recently an alt attire I had for kurt angle actually improved because only one attire showed up in ten different  slots but like three days ago I went in to the game and more of his attires showed up in the different slots for no reason seemingly. It definitely is updated to latest version possible. Also if I verified the integrity of the game files would that corrupt, cause problems, delete my mods. Or would it bring back the mods like eddie guerrero that for some reason just stopped working. With cct I tried to save cm punk over the same slot twice and ever since then neither wrestle plus nor cct has worked for me. I can't seem to put any new mods in the game at all. I guess it corrupted my save. So I was looking for alternatives to those to keep modding.

For the createmode.pac file issue how would I go about fixing that? Just curious because I should have all 2k20 ported moves at this point if its just a matter of dragging and dropping files in the main directory.

As regards modding, there aren't any alternatives to CCT and Data Editor. I will advise you delete the gamesave and add mods to your game using CCT and Data editor only, not with wrestleplus as using both wretslplus and CCT to manage mods will cause issues with your game.

Ensure the CCT folder and Data Editor folders are not placed in the DOWNLOADS or DESKTOP. Place them elsewhere.

You need to remove the folder I mentioned which you have placed in the main 2k19 folder.

Most of the 2k20 moves are in the main pack. If your game isn't version 1.04, it wouldn't work as the 2k20 moves are placed in the DLC files for moves.

You need to search your game's folders for copies of the createmode.pac file.

This file is located in the pac\root folder. If you have a backup copy in your game's folders , some of the moves wouldn't show up or none at all.

Remove any createmode.pac file you find in any folder location.
