sidkaramat Posted November 28, 2020 Posted November 28, 2020 Hi, I am trying to make a new cut scene out of brother of destruction entrance 1300 , the ring part : 00200000 & 2000001 (excuse my 0's in typing if they differ) For my example I took 06702 victory scene. 1 - I took 00000 from 6702 removed it's YANM/YMAM parts and placed 200000/2000001 from 00000 of 1300. Fixed 05 06 07 bytes for proper changed length in the header which was basically from the start of YANM to end of file. 2- for 000001 I did the same using 00004 from 1300. 3 - Did the same for 0A and 0C files. Repackaged these and placed it in EVT, game crashed. Is this even possible @jakeypearce , @squaredcirclefan or any animation modder 1 Quote
BlindedByTheGrace Posted November 28, 2020 Posted November 28, 2020 (edited) Hi, What you have outlined seems a bit confusing as the entrance 1300 is actually the D-Generation X tag entrance not Brothers of Destruction. If a custom evt crashes, it means some of the data bytes in the header section are invalid and doesn't reference the file lengths. No one knows for sure what will work and what wouldn't until we try when it comes to YANM. But at least you want to make sure all the offset references for the file are correct.
