BlackBen83 Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 Hi guyz, All is in the title, I would like to know which file to edit to change the music names in the game (the music0, or misc_music files for example, but just the name replace Cube1 by CM Punk for example). I've tried some things but nothing appears in game Should I search in the stringfile? or in the music-misc files for example with Wrestleminus (better I think?)? Or edit the html file? Thanks for your help Ben Quote
mattfick Posted October 29, 2020 Posted October 29, 2020 i would assume by overwriting "cube 1" in the string file? 1 Quote

It's curious but even after writing it here, I didn't try to do it that way. I'll try this, if I find the word "Cube1" in the String.file it will be done here . Nooby I'm, I'll let feedback this evening after a try. I tested html (editing the sound editor base too), direct modification of music_0.pck for example. Searching with Wrestleminus some informations in the sound files 😂🤣 Thanks dude Ben Edited October 29, 2020 by BlackBen83 Quote

mattfick Posted October 29, 2020 Posted October 29, 2020 (edited) okay, u might want to get rid of the string file out of the mods folder. copy and paste to its correct wwe2k19 folder location(overwriting the original), then delete the file out of the mods folder. when i had mine there sometimes the wrong one would load up Edited October 29, 2020 by mattfick Quote
El Guapo Posted October 29, 2020 Posted October 29, 2020 Check out this thread - it's specifically about adding new items (entrances etc) but it also show how to rename what is already there. I changed all my entrance musics and videos this way Quote

I changed all my entrance musics and videos this way Oh yeah I've CAE Item adder. But I'm still a nooby for this program personally, there I work much more with Wrestleminus to modd/add the trons on the game, edit the names of the wrestlers for example. I need to work with a tuto again for CAE Ben Quote
mattfick Posted October 29, 2020 Posted October 29, 2020 delete the string file from your mods folder, therefore the game *REBUILD DEF AFTER* then the game will only read one string file 1 Quote

I don't know if the string.file on both sides can crash the game anyway? At the moment I'm more interested in why my game crashes than why I'm deleting one of them. But what if this is perhaps one of the many possible reasons as well? So I'll see it tonight and I'll come back here in the evening to say if everything is ok. Ben Quote
mattfick Posted October 29, 2020 Posted October 29, 2020 i dont think your game will necessarily crash, but sometimes certain strings wont show up depending which one is being loaded, which is why i copied the superstring to the correct folder Quote

And it works fine. Ben Quote
