BlackBen83 Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 @Apost Khan Happy to see you here for this. Incredible work dude, it's really interesting mods since many NXT, ROH, gold WWE champions come from Japan and in particular from STARDOM. Have you a list to do, or do you plan to do actual OEDO TAI for example or Hana Kimura (I've done a caw if you need the texture and if he can help you)? This will motivate me to finish the other STARDOM renderers for the community. I can't wait to see the results. Keep up the good work ;) Ben Quote
Apost Khan Posted October 6, 2020 Author Posted October 6, 2020 @BlackBen83 I have plans to cover the whole roster. I approached this mod with the 5* the starting point, but I do plan on going back and doing some 2019 attires for Tam and Momo, plus a big Hana tribute. The tentative release schedule will be something like: Pack 1 (Oct. 7th): Stars: Mayu, Tam, & SLK. QQ: Momo, AZM, & Utami. DDM: Giulia, Maika, & Himeka. TCS: Jungle & Death. OT: Tora & Natsu. Japan Hall & HS Gym overhauls. All title belts. Pack 2: Stars: Strong Saya, QQ: Tall Saya, DDM: Syuri, OT: Saki Pack 3: Konami, Bea, Riho. Pack 4: The new roster members. Pack 5: The JK wrestlers. 1 1 Quote

Apost Khan Posted October 6, 2020 Author Posted October 6, 2020 @BlackBen83 Given all the caws you've made, I think you'll be blown away by the modding technique I stumbled upon to make this collection. I think it might just be a game changer. What you see. These aren't pac files. I found a way to texture edit almost everything in the game without injecting anything into the WWE 2K19 game folder. It's as easy as using texture replacements in Skyrim. This means no more logo limits for your caws. No more having to deal with stretched and blurred regions. No more unreachable areas like the top of a mask or the soles of shoes. No more baked in normal maps. No more having to worry about the logo limit that caused save corruption. So far the only thing I can't figure out how to mod with this method is crowd signs. I can get the modded ones to show up in the caw screen but not in the crowd. 3 1 Quote

Apost Khan Posted November 14, 2020 Author Posted November 14, 2020 Sorry for disappearing for a few weeks. I had update #1 80% done when the mid-October Windows 10 update turned my gaming PC into little more than an expensive paperweight. Literally every USB device I own stopped working. No mouse, no keyboard, no mic, no drawing tablet, nothing. It took them long enough, but they finally patched the bug and things are back on track with my project. Now that I can use my PC again, I hope to wrap up what needs to be done quickly and have update #1 out before Thanksgiving. Thank you for your patience, and sorry once more for the delay! 4 Quote
JLU1000 Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 So with this technique are we able to keep all of our other modded stuff plus the base game or is this completely replacing the whole game? Quote

You can keep everything, you download theses as caws from community creations, then following my tutorial, the program auto injects my new textures for those caws whenever you select them in game, letting you use those 100 caw slots without taking up any mod slots. Using this method doesn't touch any of the base game files, so if you don't want to use my ring textures (since the canvas overwrites a bunch of arenas) just change the name of the folder in my mod from modded to no mods and all my mods are gone from the game, then change the name back when you want to use them again. It's totally plug and play and you can delete whatever, whenever, without issue. If you've ever used a texture mod for Skyrim, it works sort of like that does, only easier.
