New to modding (Help please)

Hi, i am struggling to get mods into my game. I have been downloading 2k modz and when i do it usually download in an internet explorer file/RAR and then when i open cct it usually never identify it, and the pac files i do get are in notepad form. All of the tutorial video i have watch i never seen any download look like that. I was hoping someone could tell me what i am doing here. Also do i have install everything (pofo/ entrance) because all i care about is the in ring gameplay and moveset. and also on CCT i see a list of superstar that unuseable or hidden etc what if i try installing someone like Dijokovic who is not on the list i believe how would i go installing them into the game and universe. And also i see people upload 2k20 moves into this game, i also wonder how would i be able to do. I know i asked a bunch but if anyone could help, i would appreciate it
