Freeze Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 When I open CCT and click data editor, it says my path is invalid when I click on the WWE 2K19 folder. How can I fix this? I don't want to delete CCT then re-install it because I added in the new Smackdown arena from Fox and I don't know if deleting CCT temporarily will work or if it would mess anything up. What should I do? Quote
Cave Waverider Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 You need to set the Data Editor path in CCT to the one where you have installed Data Editor (not the game path!). To do so, open CCT, click Settings and click the button marked "..." on the right of the Data Editor field, then point it to the directory you have installed Data Editor in. Quote

I did that and it's still blank. At the bottom of the screen it says (Error: Couldn't load XML data) Quote

At the bottom of the screen it says (Error: Couldn't load XML data) That means one of the XML files required by CCT can't be read (either it's corrupted, your Windows user account doesn't have read/write permissions for the directory you have installed CCT in, etc..). Uninstall the old version of CCT and delete the CCT folder and any leftover files if it's still left there. Redownload the latest version of CCT, then reinstall it (using the installer). Maybe try to install it on a different drive/partition than your OS drive (or a different folder than any of the pre-existing system folders if you only have one partition/drive), in case it's a Windows User Account permission issue. Will that mess up any mods that I downloaded? I only downloaded the Smackdown arena mod so far. Quote

Cave Waverider Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 Make sure to extract all the files and folders from each tool into it's own directory (ideally away from the OS partition or at least the Program Files folder, also not in the WWE 2k19 directory) and see if that helps. Check that each tool points to the proper paths. Also see that the tools are running as Administrator. Quote
