Nope. As high in memory as those addys are, the offset could be ginormous. For example, one of the fills caused an under-the ring camera angle during a match, which may or may not be around the fisheye camera code ( 044whateva ) and I'm looking for 045whateva which is about a 10000 offset ( :eek ) if it's the same addy. I'll keep plugging away in my spare time, but it's taking a while. It also concerns me that I haven't had a single lockup yet.

Yah, started at CAW slot 1 and I'm working my way up and down. Ive gone through about 2400 addys so far with no results. Basically, I'm doing this during commercial breaks when I'm watching TV alone, which I only do rarely. I'm kinda leaning toward the theory that these addys are 10000 up in memory, but without any definite proof, I'm not going to risk wasting my time shooting in the dark for them. It's just a matter of time and patience I guess.

Great job on finding the values for the in-game wrestlers' names and attributes. Any chance of coming up with values for CAWs?

Yea. Well, i have CAW 1's; you just need to offset them. Ive posted these in another post.

:eek :eek :eek

HOLY *CLAP*!!!

Those "MEGA attribute" codes are the BOMB!!!

With Strength, Durability and Counter attributes of 56.5, my Mewtwo CAW can totally dominate any match he is put in--especially (pun intended) since he has a super-custom grapple moveset consisting largely of special moves (i.e. Stunner, Rock Bottom, Perfect Pedigree, etc.)!

Submissions still pose something of a problem for Mewtwo, as they still do large amounts of damage if locked on for a long time. However, after the submission is released, Mewtwo just gets right up and starts kicking ass again. He NEVER stays down for any length of time. If he does "decide" to sell a move, he does so quickly, then just ignores the pain and gets up.

Even more awesome, is the fact I can often get Mewtwo to do moves in such a way, as to make him look like he's using telekinesis on his opponent!

To achieve the "telekinesis" effect, I simply put values for grapple moves into the striking move addresses. I even did the same thing to the taunt addresses, so that Mewtwo would actually perform various grapple moves whenever I pressed on the D-pad!

That's really great to hear about the Warrior tassles. If it isn't too much trouble, could you please post the code that would enable me to do this? Thank you very much!

xirtamehtsitahw, glad your enjoying the codes. Why dont you try 127.5 though? When i used FF as an attribute value, thats what I got, but as i said (or should have) just dont set speed to 127.5 cuz the game blacks out (but still runs.)

wdrewjr, Pretty soon (today/tomorrow?) Im gonna post the CAW tool thing ive been working on, which contains all the codes and values that are needed to make stuff like that.

I tried using FF as an attribute value for everything but Charisma and Speed, but my game seemed to read it as 56.5, not 127.5. Nevertheless, my Mewtwo CAW is completely invincible now! w00t!!11!1

As an example, let's say Triple H performs a Pedigree on Mewtwo. Absolutely NOTHING happens to Mewtwo's damage meter! The outline doesn't even flash red!

Bret Hart performs a Sharpshooter on Mewtwo. Again, NOTHING. Mewtwo just shrugs it off as if nothing had happened.

Now, let's turn the tables on those two. If Mewtwo performs one of his light-grapple specials, say, the Perfect Pedigree, on Triple H, it does upwards of 200 damage (I tried out many of 'Two's moves in the training mode). I have yet to steal Bret's Sharpshooter, but I'd imagine it would do about 30 to 40 damage per second ('Two's Irish whip Crippler Crossface does INSANE damage--I never thought submissions could do that much damage to somebody!).

The only moves Mewtwo sells now are totally off-the-wall bumps, such as a missed diving headbutt from the HIAC roof. Ow.

I tried your "Load Gym over House Show" code, but it doesn't seem to work, even though I applied the PAL-to-NTSC offset. All I get is the House Show arena. Do I need to try another arena, or does the NTSC version use entirely different addresses AND values for the arenas?

Posted

56.5? oh well. its a large enough value anyway =D

Right, the Gym. Yeah it could use different offsets; infact, if it requires an offset it will certainly be different. Id recommend, if you have the time, decrypting my PAL code, then just re-encrypting sans verifier to the NTSC ID and region...I have a feeling the file swap codes may not need to be translated, but its just a hunch.

btw, i wish id remembered about the training mode where you can test moves :( There might have been a way to modify move statistics, such as damage it does and stuff. ARGH, regrets, but oh well.

You don't need 127.5 in any attribute, because if you have "only" 56.5 in Strength, Durability, Counter, and Charisma, your CAW becomes almost like a "god". Nothing any of the in-game wrestlers do, will ever do any damage to your CAW. However, you can still be eliminated from the Royal Rumble (seems the CPU doesn't want to let the superiority issue go), and you can still lose in any match which requires a count-out, cage, or ladder win. Also, in triple-threat, tag team and fatal 4-way matches, you can lose the match, and not even be involved in the decision, unless, in a tag match, both you and your CPU (or human-controlled) partner have MEGA stats.

*Imagines a fatal 4-way match in which all participants have MEGA stats*

Three hours later...

*The match is still going on, and there is no way to tell who the winner might be*
