Hi frds, has anybody ported previous games like 2k15, 2k16, 2k17, 2k18 all cutscenes (like universe, mycareer etc) to 2K19 ?

Hello

What do you mean by 'porting' scene ?

You can 'replace' 2k19 scene by 2kxx scene, tu use in create a video and perhaps in universe. You need paceditor and perhaps a hxd editor, for cav.

So you can never had all scene at the same time. And specific scene from one game (universe et story) may not be present in another one so the animation could not be triggered by universe story of the other game.

If you need the evt file from previous games you can see the thread of @AznBlusuazn who store all the files from the past edition.

Have a nice day

The Thing is

I am trying to insert 03335.pac cutscene in the place of 05022.pac cutscene

( Just FYI :

03335.pac  - is Mycareer Cutscene - Miz coming with Miztourage when Hero speaks with Elias  (Hidden Cutscene)

05022.pac - is Entrance 4 Cutscene in Universe Mode in CAV    )

So, For it, in .fop file, I also inserted 4B02 (dummy player Hex value in the place of Real superstar's Hex value)

u can see this pic - https://imgur.com/veybPWG

but inside the game I able to change only first 2 superstars and the rest of 4 superstars I could not able to change.

u can see this pic  - https://imgur.com/qNk8ci0

So, how to change them inside the game . And, for that what should I do in HXD ?

Here is the file I have used  - https://www.mediafire.com/file/3at8ixvbqnl7osh/05022.pac/file

u can view

Ok.

I dont know how to unlock greyed superstar on cutscene in cav. Nobody seems to have found if it's hardcoded or if it's editable on hxd editor.

My method to edit all the superstar,

Replace a cutscene who have 5 editable superstar.there are one or two in the after match/victory cutscene (doesnt remember the number).

Not a perfect solution but a functionnal solution 😉

Hope it help you.

Yes Friend I just now noticed it. Thanks.  😃

And other thing is, is it possible to bring Alternate Attire of wwe superstar into cutscene in CAV ?

As far as i know, it isn't possible via the menu of cav.

Just like title...it's pretty pityfull from 2k to have this restriction 4 years the first cav in current gen games...

For the title you can edit the hxd but for the attire i dont know.

Hi @iamjoker,

I saw your PM but I felt it best to answer your question on this thread for the benefit of other modders.

Its possible to have alternate attires or in-ring attires for characters in CAV cutscenes , but they can't be selected in Create Video. You will need to manually add the data to the cutscene file.

For instance the screenshot I have posted here is the Universe mode backstage scene 3 (4226) with the in-ring attires of the superstars

gy3ZHlk.png

Another example is the cutscene in the video (Promo fail last scene) where the Sasha Banks ch  is shown with  attire 5  and charlotte ch with  attire 2 in my game.

You just need to enter the ID for the alternate attire in hex where you have 4b02 or whichever ID .

For instance 61214 is the ID for Charlotte's attire 2  (convert this to hex gives EF1E)

Sasha Banks alternate attire 4 entrance  (61334) is  EF96 in hex. Just add those manually to the 0fop file.

If you want to change the ID's in the file, you don't actually need to close the game. You can just exit the CAV menu, open the cutscene evt in pac editor, highlight the first bpe and select UNCOMPRESS.(This is the 0fop file). Make the changes and inject as BPE .You can now enter the create video mode and you will see the change reflected.

Thanks for an another info frd.

I tried to insert 03335.pac cutscene in the place of 05824.pac cutscene

( Just FYI :

03335.pac  - is Mycareer Cutscene - Miz coming with Miztourage when Hero speaks with Elias  (Hidden Cutscene)

05824.pac - is Victory 87 in Universe Mode in CAV    )

And in the cutscene that I am planning to make, I completely want to remove (Cast 4) Maryse Character as well as her Motions on that cutscene

So for that in HxD, I removed Maryse's Hex value 71AE and then I typed as 0000

U can see in this image How I changed - https://imgur.com/6RjuC39

And in the game if you see the result, CAW wrestler is being displayed in the Cast 4 instead of getting hidden

U can see this image -   https://imgur.com/YAYP7Nt

here is the file I have used - https://www.mediafire.com/file/j524scduq9ui9u7/05824.pac/file

What I needed is, I want to make the my cutscene look like this  - https://imgur.com/YkIlKbx  . In this screenshot, the person has Removed Cast 4 Maryse Character as well as her motions , and even the Background lights in the screenshot have changed to Arena lights

Nice man. Good to see the progress you are making.

There are two things you need to do here.

I have extracted the same file and posted a screenshot of the 0fop file

You will see I have highlighted  a 00 and 01.

The first 01 after the ID of the characters tells the game to load the motion in the entrance. Change that to 00

You need to add the 01 at the second position which disables that slot entirely.

One other thing is,If you are moving a cutscene or entrance to another slot, you need to change the ID I highlighted on top.

The 0D 07 is the ID for the entrance. This is the ID read by some of the assets in the game like the light engine , trons theme etc.

You need to change it to the ID of the slot you are placing it in. For this case you convert 5824 to hex (16C0) and type over the 0D07.

If you don't do this, the lights won't work properly ow wouldn't work at all.

Thanks bro, now I have learnt how to disable specific cast in cutscenes.

Thing is, but arena lightning alone is still dark when miz comes with his team Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel. But, whereas when dummy superstar speaking with elias the lightning is more brighter.

you can see this image :

fake superstar and elias talks before miz and his team comes  -  https://imgur.com/RkN9KID

miz and his team comes - https://imgur.com/ZBAJ9XW

So, how to change arena lighning bro when miz comes with his team on the cutscene.

This is the file I have used  - https://www.mediafire.com/file/9hwz7hbseqmuwwr/05824.pac/file

If the light isn't bright, you will need to use a different cutscene slot as each slot has different settings for backstage, entrance and ring lighting.

Hi bro, I tried and replaced the Miz and his teammates cutscene with slot 5002.pac (Entrance 2 in Universe Mod), but still I dont know why the back lightning is dark when miz coming with Curtis Axel and Dallas. So, do you have any suggestions ? And Which slot give a better lightning ? But If I change arena like Mexico arena or any open space arena, then there is no dark. Dark lightning is there only on the WWE Arenas.

Hi,

Each cutscene has its own lighting effects for the stage area, backstage etc.

If you had the slot 3335 unlocked, you will be able to use it with all the proper lighting for the cutscene.

For better lighting on slot 5824, you will need to copy the lighting effect file for evt 3335 and convert it to slot 5824 (I don't know if you have done this)

Secondly the evt_data.pac file contains data for certain cutscenes (USE LIGHT SETTINGS) enabling the effects file to be used for the scene . When I has a look at this file, 03335 is listed. I added 5824 to the file and saved.

You can place this evt_data.pac file in the pac\evt folder https://mega.nz/file/9ZghnRrT#ZaYr0WslWnDlfaeABbiFoG-mZ6e1iHfF8MIwAGMF7BQ

All you now need to do is just copy over the 03335.pac effects file to slot 5824.

Wow Great Man. Placing evt_data.pac worked.  Thanks frd.

And bro, how did you add 5824 to the evt_data.pac ?

Here are the steps

1. Open the evt_data.pac file in Pac Editor and select MASS  EXTRACT . This option will decompress the file into a folder.

Open the folder created and look for the file 0016.840. Open the file with Notepad.

Here is a screenshot of the file open.

Each entry is the ID of a Victory animation or cutscene. These are Victory Animations which use special lighting effects or cutscenes with lighting in certain areas. Adding the ID and a 0 after will tell the game to read the lighting data from the effect file.

If you look in the link, you will find the Universe backstage cutscenes are also listed (2331- 2336). I also added 6663 which is the Fiend's Victory ID to this file, which enables the game use the dark light effects in the for the Victory motion.

If the ID for cutscene you want to use is listed in this file , you will need to add the ID for the slot you are moving it to and place a 0 after it.

If you are using a cutscene from an older game , the ID might be listed in the evt_data file for that game, which will mean it requires its own effects file to work properly.

When done, save and inject back into the file using the INJECT AS BPE function.

thanks for this info and friend.

At the same time, ID along with 1 will not let the game to read the lighting data from the effect file. correct ?

Hi bro, I have found an another one bro. The thing is the lights are perfect for Raw arena. Thanks for that. But, when I select other arenas like smackdown etc, the lights are mixed with raw lights and when miz comes with his team, the light is little dark.

You can look at these images. This will clearly tell you

Raw - https://imgur.com/qAiaVuh

Smackdown - https://imgur.com/TYmPi1b

What I needed is , like Raw arena, Whenever I select other arenas like Smackdown, MITB etc, the lightnings must be correct.

So, any opinion on this bro ?

I doubt much can be done regarding that scene and those lights. Ive seen dark lights in the stage in a few cutscene story videos on YouTube and I assume the modders just work around it that way.

I don't believe its impossible to change the lights in the scene but this will entail editing the effects file and we don't fully understand the lighting data so some of is beyond the scope of what we can mod.

  • 4 weeks later...

Hello,

Sorry for the dig-up thread.

I have found a situation where editing Hx in 0fp isnt the same.

When i change object or in-game wrestler, there's no problem.

But when i want to edit the pac of a CAW,

Backstage 2 (evt 4223).

I want to replace:

moveset-man (4B02) by CAW 47 (in ring attire 1 so i make 04702 -> 125E)

and

Cena (364E) vy CAW 36 (in ring attire 1 so i make 03602 -> 0E12)

When i charge the scene in the game, the name of the CAW are correctly chosen in the menu, but in the scene they are invisibles.

I have try whith one in-game wrestler and one CAW and same situation, the CAW is invisible, the in-game is ok...

Do you have any idea for solving the problem (i hope i havent miss a step in another thread...😉) ?

Thanks in advance.
