Riggan Posted June 23, 2020 Posted June 23, 2020 (edited) Hello folks. I'm finally getting into some modding on this game and have had some success getting custom music and tron videos imported into the game and working. A) I ran into an issue though with importing Hollywood Hogan from 2K15. I followed this guide seemingly verbatim and I got Hogan in the game. Everything seems to be working right except his Titantron video. The big screen is blank in every arena I've tested his entrance in. I've retraced my steps from the walkthrough and I can't seem to find anything I might've missed. Any ideas? B) Also, I'd like to install the Undertaker '94 mod from this thread. I extracted the two pac files, but I'm a little unsure what to do with them outside of copy/pasting them into the pac>ch directory. I'm assuming something more will be required to actually get it working? Thanks ahead of time to anyone who might respond. I'm trying to get fully familiarized with the whole process, but obviously I've got some holes to fill. Any info is appreciated. UPDATE: Got '94 Taker in and sorted. Still trying to figure out why Hogan's tron isn't working. Edited June 23, 2020 by Riggan Answered my own question (and updated thread title) Quote

Hello, The filename(s): ent_0476_0_0.bk2 ent_0476_0_1.bk2 ent_0476_0_2.bk2 The video is the same on all three files, and all three are the same resolution (640x640). Pulled them from the Azn_2k19_476_Hollywood_Media folder and copy/pasted them into the STEAM\steamapps\common\WWE 2K19\movies\titantron folder in the game directory. What is the titantron ID assigned in the moveset file if you view in data editor? Quote

You will need to rename the titantrons as ent_0476_0_0_0.bk2 ent_0476_0_0_1.bk2 ent_0476_0_0_2.bk2. Then test in your game. Quote

One other question that has sprung up while importing Hogan and Undertaker.... is there a way to force-select announced names for them, since those sound bytes exist in 2K19? Like, for Hogan, it is possible to get the announcer to say "Holly" "Wood" "Hogan" for a regular created CAW. Is there a way to edit that into Hogan's slot here? Edited June 23, 2020 by Riggan Quote

It can't be done within the game itself. I had put up a mod in this thread with some unused ring announcer names assigned to some mod slots. If you copy the sound_p30.pac file from this mod into your game, you will notice there is another name announced for Hogan on slot 476. There is a zip in the pack with announce names by JoJo merged together ( Hollywood Hulk Hogan and Hulk Hogan are in there) You will need to open the ra_m.pck file with sound editor search for the name announced and inject the Hogan names over it. Thank you for this. I will certainly look into it. And I assume this is also the same method for getting the Undertaker '94 skin from 2K14 to have an announced "Undertaker" name as well? Quote
BlindedByTheGrace Posted June 23, 2020 Posted June 23, 2020 Are you placing the Undertaker as an alternate attire or on a separate slot.? Quote

I would actually prefer it be alt attire, but I'm still very new to this and I haven't quite figured out how to do that. Quote
BlindedByTheGrace Posted June 23, 2020 Posted June 23, 2020 (edited) You need to use the alternate attire unlocker feature in Data Editor. I believe there is a tutorial on how to use the feature. Its better to install as an alternate attire so you get the announcement and the commentary. There is a way to assign commentary and ring announcement for the Undertaker to a separate slot but it involves hex editing and I wouldn't recommend it if you are just beginning to mod your game. 3 minutes ago, Riggan said: I placed him in a separate slot.
