Hi,

I don't know if you have been working with character models previously but  X-REY 4.X which is a paid tool, is the only application which can open 2k20 MDL files. obj files can be extracted from the MDL in XREY.

MDL files cannot be converted directly to YOBJ or OBJ to be used directly as pac files in 2k19. The extracted obj files need to be imported into a 3D program like 3D Studio max and additional work done in that program before exporting back to X-REY.

As I said before, it all depends on your experience and proficiency with these tools. If you are just new to modding and don't have experience with 3D software etc, you wouldn't be able to do it.

I love all the people randomly trying to jump into the hardest part of modding
